During a session, a child client shared a precious thought about family. When their therapist gently explained that there’s no one way to be a family, the child beamed and said, “Jesse, you’re a genius! All families are different!” Then, they proudly shared that their friend at school has two dads, exclaiming, “Isn’t that cool!?” This moment warmed all our hearts and reminded us of the beauty in every unique family.
